Vale Syd Caddy

It is with sadness that we announce the news of the passing of the great Syd Caddy, a great family man, past President who presided over the club during the 1988 to 1991. During this time The club won Premierships in the Second and Third eleven (88/89 season) also the same year won the VSDCA joint Championship. Just recently we celebrated past premierships gathering in which his son Andrew Attended. Our thoughts go out to his wife Wendy and sons Toby and Andrew at this sad time. Syd and his family are truly part of the Ivanhoe cricket family, with his wife Wendy heavily involved in the club and his sons Andrew and Toby who played in the First Eleven premiership Flag.  We have lost not only an important person to the club, but a close friend to many.  All Senior cricket players will wear black armbands as a sign of respect and honor for the great man as a sign of what he has meant to the club.

Ivanhoe Saints Cricket Club Incorporated was established on 14th September 2015 in time for the commencement of the 2015/16 cricket season.  Ivanhoe Saints evolved from the amalgamation of Ivanhoe Cricket Club (1906) and East Ivanhoe Saints Cricket Club (2000).  For just over 100 years, both Ivanhoe Park and Chelsworth Park has been the focal point for cricket in the Ivanhoe area.  

We’re a famly club with Senior Men, Junior & Veteran cricket

  • 4 Senior Men’s teams that compete in the Victorian Sub District Cricket Association [VSDCA] turf competition

  • Junior cricket teams in synthetic competitions within the Eastern Cricket Association and North Metro Cricket Associations

HEAD COACH / SENIOR MENS COACH | HENRY TYLER

Henry joins the coaching team at Ivanhoe Saints CC for season 2023/24 with a rich background in coaching cricket, both at the senior (6 yrs) and junior (10 yrs) levels. Henry has extensive experience as a coach, having been the National Head Coach for the Philippines since 2021 and a Development & High-Performance Coach for Northern Falcons since 2018. He is also the Head of Health & PE at Ivanhoe Grammar, demonstrating his commitment to the overall development of young individuals. Furthermore, Henry has a Cricket Australia Level 2 Coaching Accreditation, making him a valuable addition to the Ivanhoe Saints CC coaching lineup.

Join us In 2023/24!

For U10s and U12s (Age as at 1 Sept) there is an Info and Come and try session on Monday 4th September. This will be followed by an Ivanhoe Junior Preseason and Registration Day on Sun 10th, 11am to 1pm. All sessions are at Ivanhoe Park

Season begins 6th October 

U10s - Sun mornings, U12s - Fri night and/or Sun mornings (trying for 2 teams), U14s,16s & 18s - Fri nights
